About Me

Jackie Haugen is a resident of Highland Village, TX and a painter of 30 years. She has studied with numerous instructors in VA, MD, and TX. She has attended Texas Women’s University and University of North Texas as a watercolor major. Her art is frequently described as energetic and imaginative. One of her paintings titled Pot Bar was published in 2006 in Palette magazine in the Mar-April issue. The article was entitled Imaginative Artists.

History is important to her and Jackie considers herself a storyteller in Paint and an abstractor of nature. She has won many awards through the years including Best of Show and 2 People’s Choice award. Jackie is active in the Visual Art Society of Texas and the Visual Art league of Lewisville, TX. Her art can be seen at Vantage Point Art Gallery in Gainsville, TX and Indigo Art and Framing in Flower Mound, TX. She enjoys doing commissions and working with her clients to make their memories come alive in paintings they are proud to hang on their wall.

In the Summer of 2022 Jackie will participate in a solo show at The Grand Theater in Lewisville TX.
